Three matches helped shape the monthly honors, while one club’s perfect run also changed the picture at the top of the table.
The Ukrainian Premier League has named its best player and coach for September. Among the players, Karpaty striker Nazariy Rusyn was the winner.

Nazariy Rusyn named September’s best player
Rusyn featured in three matches and scored two goals. In the voting, he finished ahead of Ihor Krasnopir of Polissya, Baton Zabergja and Illia Krupskyi of Kharkiv, Matvii Ponomarenko of Dynamo, Izaki of Shakhtar, Dmytro Ledvii of LNZ, and Arinaldo Rrapaj of Kolos.
Ruslan Rotan tops the coaches’ rankings
Ruslan Rotan of Polissya was named the month’s best coach. Under his leadership, the team earned nine points from three matches:
Polissya – Kudrivka – 5:1;
Polissya – Livyi Bereh – 1:0;
Polissya – Kryvbas – 1:0.
In the coaches’ voting, Rotan finished ahead of Mladen Bartulović of Kharkiv, Arda Turan of Shakhtar, and Ihor Kostiuk of Dynamo.
Standings after seven rounds
After seven rounds, Polissya and Shakhtar shared first place with 18 points each. Karpaty were third with 14 points.
Round eight matches were scheduled for October 9. A rescheduled match from round six between Veres and Kudrivka was also set to take place on October 3.
