There could be a rare opportunity for Roma’s third-choice goalkeeper Devis Vasquez when the Giallorossi host Sassuolo in Serie A on Saturday evening, while Alberto Aquilani prepares to go without Domenico Berardi in attack.
Roma are one of two teams still unbeaten in Serie A after 10 matches, but are coming off a disappointing 3-2 defeat against Manchester United in the Champions League earlier this week. They had beaten Udinese 5-2 and Cagliari 4-2 in their most recent league fixtures.

The Giallorossi have won seven and drawn three of their first 10 matches of the Serie A season, enough for third place on 24 points.
Sassuolo, meanwhile, are in desperate need of a victory after a 4-2 defeat against Fiorentina last week and a 6-2 hammering by table-topping Lazio last Tuesday. The Neroverdi have lost four on the trot in Serie A and are without a win in six, their last win coming against Juventus back in September.
Their tally of eight points after 10 matches has them hanging dangerously above the relegation zone in 17th place on Saturday morning.

In terms of team news, Roma could be without first-choice goalkeeper Mile Svilar and understudy Pierluigi Gollini is a big doubt as well, which means there could be a chance for Vasquez in the Giallorossi net. Paulo Dybala and Manu Kone are also still out injured.
There should be starting opportunities for recently-called up Italy internationals Daniele Ghilardi and Niccolo Pisilli. Rodrigo Mora, included in the Portugal squad on Friday, is also set to start in attack along with Matias Soule and Donyell Malen.

Sassuolo, meanwhile, are without captain Berardi as well as Cristian Volpato. This means that Sebastiano Esposito could drop into a supporting role in the attack alongside Armand Lauriente, with Kireon Bowie leading the line at centre-forward.
Sky Sport Italia predicts that there will be a switch in formation for Sassuolo, who could match Roma and line up in a 3-4-2-1, rather than their usual 4-3-3.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
