Sandisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) beat Yahoo Finance consensus on revenue and non-GAAP earnings per share for the quarter to the 2nd of October. Revenue of $11.031bn compared with $10.70bn expected, 3.1% ahead. Non-GAAP EPS, which excludes certain items, was $49.51 against $46.41, 6.7% ahead.
The results came after the US close, so they do not explain the day’s trading. Sandisk shares fell 5.3% to $1,330.05 in the regular session today, before the release, and were about 0.5% lower after hours.
Data centre revenue drove the quarter. It rose 61% from the previous quarter to $4.802bn, against $269m a year earlier. Total revenue was up 23% on the previous quarter and 378% on the $2.308bn of a year ago, while non-GAAP gross margin widened to 85.1% from 84.6%.

Sandisk quarterly revenue in $bn; the chart skips two quarters between the first quarter of fiscal 2026 and the fourth, and the guidance bar is the midpoint of the $12.2bn to $12.6bn range.
Edge revenue was $5.832bn, up 7% on the quarter, while consumer fell 29% to $397m. David Goeckeler, Chairman and CEO, framed the quarter around data centre demand.
We have started fiscal year 2027 with another quarter of strong performance, with robust and growing demand for our products driving outpaced growth in our data center business
David Goeckeler, Chairman and CEO, Sandisk
Guidance also beat. Sandisk expects revenue of $12.2bn to $12.6bn next quarter, a $12.4bn midpoint against Yahoo Finance consensus of $12.29bn, and non-GAAP EPS of $55.00 to $57.00, midpoint $56.00 against $53.35. It guided non-GAAP gross margin of 84.5% to 85.5%.
Reported GAAP figures are higher still, with net income of $8.101bn and EPS of $52.60, but that includes a $513m gain on equity securities. Sandisk also said it returned $5.0bn to shareholders in the quarter by repurchasing about 3.2m shares. The results are unaudited.
The per-share figures are before an 8-for-1 stock split. Holders on the record date, the 9th of November, receive the new shares after the close on the 19th of November, and split-adjusted trading starts at the open on the 20th of November. At today’s close, $1,330.05 would become about $166.26 a share, which changes the price per share but not the value of a holding.
