The 45-year-old faced backlash from the internet after some users argued that her children should have taken the center stage instead of her. However, Hilton addressed the criticism in a comment on another Instagram post. Her comment read, “Beauty and the Beast is one of their favorite movies, and London said she wanted to dress up as Chip. She said it was her favorite character in the movie.”
Despite Hilton’s explanation, some users continued to criticize her for taking the spotlight away from her children. However, the 45-year-old’s comment made it clear that her daughter’s costume was based on her own preference rather than something imposed by her mother.

However, this is not the first time Hilton paid tribute to Spears through her Halloween costumes. In previous years, the 45-year-old recreated looks inspired by the singer’s music videos for Oops… I Did It Again and …Baby One More Time. The American socialite’s latest costume continued the tradition, adding another Spears-inspired look to Hilton’s Halloween themes.
