Morgan Rogers is confident Xabi Alonso’s strike force will continue causing havoc as Chelsea chase silverware and European qualification.
Having joined the Blues from Aston Villa during the summer, Rogers has slotted in seamlessly alongside good mate Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro in a three-man attack.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash with fierce rivals Tottenham, the England ace has provided four goals and four assists in nine appearances in all competitions.
With Roberto De Zerbi’s men hovering above the relegation zone, Alonso’s hotshots will be looking to pile the misery on a side that has won just once in seven Premier League outings.
And Rogers, 24, is relishing the opportunity to make things happen in a London derby the Chelsea faithful are always desperate to see their team win.
Speaking to the club’s official website, he said: “I always want to be creative. I always want to attack the goal and be threatening.
“Even if it doesn’t work, even if it doesn’t come off, I know I want the defenders thinking that I’ve got the ability to try something or something’s going to happen here.
“That’s the way I’ve always been since I was younger. I think if someone is watching me, I’d want them to feel excited.
“So I try and do everything I can in the little time or whatever time I’ve got on the ball and just try and make as much of a difference as possible.”
With Palmer and Pedro also in sublime form, Chelsea’s front three have already registered 13 goals and 10 assists across the league and Carabao Cup.
And Rogers believes it is the variety they deliver on the pitch that is bamboozling opposition defences.

He added: “A lot of it is chemistry… I think we attack and challenge defenders in completely different ways.
“We all want the ball in different ways. We all want different things in the game.
“If they try and stop one, the other two are going to get joy because we’re all so different.
“If you get people that are the same and want the same, once you cut that off, you’re struggling.
“But because we all want different things, if you try to stop Cole, it allows me and Joao more space.
“If you try to stop me and Joao, Cole’s going to be free as a bird to set his authority on the game.
“It’s kind of a mismatch for other teams of what to stop and how to stop it.
“We know that if we’re all on it and in the positive mindset of helping each other, we’re all going to get joy from the game.”

Rogers is equally complimentary about fellow team-mate Jordan Henderson, who has impressed since recovering from a fractured wrist and arm.
The veteran midfielder, 36, has made just three league appearances for the Blues but already boasts two goals and an assist.
Rogers said: “He’s a special person and a special player. People forget the player and just remember the person.
“They think he’s here for experience and to help everyone, but people forget the player and what he’s achieved in the game.
“He can still play at the highest level. He can still outrun everyone.
“He’s so driven and he’s in such good shape. Thirty-six doesn’t mean anything to him.
“There’s no surprise to me that he can still impact games and impact teams because of his mentality, the way he thinks about the game and the way he thinks about his body.
“Even if he’s not at the training ground, he’s thinking constantly about how he can be in the best physical and mental shape come the weekend to perform and deliver.
“The more people talk about his age, the more fire it gives him to prove people wrong.
“So people need to keep calling him old and saying he’s finished, because then he’ll just keep getting better.”
Victory for Alonso’s men would make it three on the spin in the league and ensure they remain in the top four.
