17:30 CET – Bayer Leverkusen have suffered just their second loss of the Bundesliga season after being turned over by Hoffenheim, with the hosts winning 3-0.
Bayer had been in red-hot form, winning their last six matches, but not today! Veteran Andrej Kramaric was the star of the show with a goal and assist for Hoffenheim.
Now in Germany, Bayern Munich have the chance to retake top spot in the standings as they take on Freiburg away – that’s just kicked off.

Over in Italy, Juventus are getting set to take on Lecce away at the hour.
17:05 CET – Elsewhere in England, Liverpool held on to beat high-flying Brighton and move into the top four, while Newcastle won away at Crystal Palace and Brentford fought back to draw with Hull.
Over in France, a top-of-the-table clash between Monaco and Lille ended all square, while surprise package Frosinone played out a 4-4 thriller with Atalanta in Italy.
16:50 CET – Is that the end of Michael Carrick?
The Man Utd coach is surely on the brink, with his side suffering a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth that leaves them 17th in the table and extends their winless run to eight matches.
It could’ve been more, too, with the visitors creating six chances as opposed to the hosts’ zero.
It doesn’t get much worse than that.

16:23 CET – The biggest game of the season yet in the Netherlands has ended all square, with Feyenoord battling back from 1-0 down against PSV to remain unbeaten and remain four points clear of the reigning champions at the top of the table.
PSV dominated the first half, but the visitors improved after the break and snatched a point thanks to a beauty from star man Anis Hadj Moussa.

15:48 CET – Manchester United are heading towards another disaster! They’re trailing 2-0 at the break at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Rayan and Marcus Tavernier. As it stands, Michael Carrick’s side are down in 17th; the coach could well be gone by the end of the day if he can’t turn things around.
Liverpool are having no such problems, leading Brighton 2-0. It’s been a tight game, and the quality in the final third has made the difference, with Bradey Barcola and Alexander Isak both producing some magic for the second goal, scored by the Swede.
14:36 CET – Stoppage-time goals from Marcus Thuram and Piotr Zielinski have secured a dramatic 2-1 victory for Inter Milan over struggling Fiorentina in Serie A, as Cristian Chivu’s side move level on points with Lazio at the summit.

22:46 CET – Over in France, Paris FC have missed their chance to go top of Ligue 1, succumbing to a 2-1 loss at Lens, who came back with two second-half goals to win, with Florian Thauvin and Thorgan Hazard netting.

Atletico Madrid vs Deportivo A Coruna
20:27 CET – Tottenham claim a huge win at Stamford Bridge!
They so rarely beat Chelsea away from home, and so they’ve so rarely won anywhere over the last year or so, but you wouldn’t have guessed from how they played tonight. Two goals in the final 15 minutes, an OG from Chelsea goalie Mike Penders and a stunner from Mathys Tel, gave Spurs a win that will mean a huge amount and that they fully deserved.
Their life was made easier by a sending-off for Cole Palmer, but they were dominating and leading even before that.
Thanks to back-to-back wins, they now sit 12th in the table.

19:58 CET – Napoli and Roma have shared the spoils in an absolute thriller of a 3-3 draw in Naples.
Roma staged a comeback to make it 2-2 with 25 minutes to go, but McTominay then scored his second of the game to seemingly give the hosts all three points. However, super-sub Leonardo Balerdi then completed his own brace in the penultimate minute of the 90 to maintain his side’s unbeaten start to the season.
19:23 CET – There’s nothing to separate Chelsea and Tottenham at half-time, with both sides lacking a cutting edge in the final third in a closely fought opening 45 minutes at Stamford Bridge.
The visitors have acquitted themselves well, going close through Mohammed Kudus and Omar Marmoush, while Cole Palmer has seen Chelsea’s best opportunity expertly saved by Antonin Kinsky.
Elsewhere, goals from Frank Anguissa and Scott McTominay have given Napoli a 2-0 lead over Roma heading into the final half-hour, while Borussia Dortmund‘s clash with Eintracht Frankfurt is goalless at the break.

18:13 CET – Our attention now shifts to the Premier League’s late kick-off, as Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea take on Tottenham in a fascinating London derby at Stamford Bridge.
Mike Penders starts in goal for the Blues, while Geovany Quenda comes into the attack in the absence of Joao Pedro. As for Spurs, Mateus Fernandes and Mathys Tel replace Tosin Adarabioyo and Dominic Solanke.

Elsewhere this evening, Napoli host high-flying Roma in Serie A, while Borussia Dortmund will look to go top of the Bundesliga when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt.
17:58 CET – Arsenal have moved level on points with Manchester City at the Premier League summit after goals from Ezri Konsa and Gabriel secured a fairly comfortable 2-0 win over Everton.

Catch up on all the Bundesliga action here!

Elsewhere, in the Premier League, Coventry‘s home clash with Fulham remains goalless at half-time, with Josh King coming closest for the visitors.
Meanwhile, in Serie A, Cesc Fabregas’ Como have moved up to fourth in the table after Anastasios Douvikas‘ second-half brace secured a 2-0 victory over Sassuolo.

15:19 CET – Aston Villa have handed Man City their first league defeat of the season!
A brace from Nicolas Jackson has given Unai Emery’s side all three points at Villa Park, and you can’t say they didn’t deserve it. They may not have had much possession, but they took their chances and defended their own box excellently.
Other than Jackson, their key man was goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, who saved six of the seven shots that he faced.
City’s first Premier League loss under Enzo Maresca gives Arsenal the chance to go level on points with them this afternoon – the reigning champions kick off at home to Everton in just under an hour.

15:53 CET – Nicolas Jackson is unstoppable!
Man City drew level through a header from Erling Haaland, only for the Aston Villa striker to restore their lead with a great strike from the edge of the box, one that finished off a move he started himself.
He now has seven goals in his last eight starts for Villa.
14:24 CET – Half-time at Villa Park, and it’s the hosts who have the lead thanks to a superb sixth-minute strike from in-form striker Nicolas Jackson.
It’s been a pulsating opening 45′, with Jackson causing chaos in the City defence, while the visitors have also looked threatening in the final third, with Iliman Ndiaye curling against the post.

12:39 CET – Today’s early kick-off in the Premier League is a tasty one, with league leaders Manchester City travelling to the West Midlands to face Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
Despite being clouded in controversy off the pitch, City are targeting an eighth straight win to start the Premier League season, while Villa are looking to extend their six-game unbeaten run across all competitions (W5, D1).
Here’s how both teams line up:
