While both sides are closer to the bottom of the standings than the top, they are on opposing trajectories.
Tottenham, having stumbled out of the gates to start the season, now hold a two-game win streak (unbeaten in three) and can climb to as high as sixth place in the league with a win and many favourable results elsewhere in the league this weekend.
Heading in the other direction after back-to-back losses, Palace could find themselves in the basement with a loss.

Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace prediction
If this match was played two or three weeks ago, it would likely be Palace as the favourites.
Alas that’s not the case, and Spurs have shown that they can actually score goals and hold on for victories, while Palace’s form is slipping rapidly.
There’s no reason to disbelieve the trends, even if Tottenham’s home form doesn’t scare anyone.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Crystal Palace
