The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is best known for the wings and Fantasy Bras, but its shoes have been just as outrageous and memorable. Butterfly-wing heels, furry gladiator sandals, crystal-covered cage booties and lace-up boots climbing well past the knee have all made appearances on the runway.
Victoria’s Secret has brought in some major footwear designers over the years. Giuseppe Zanotti provided shoes in 2011, while Nicholas Kirkwood created custom styles for the 2012 show, including vine-like sandals that wrapped around models’ calves. Kirkwood and Sophia Webster followed with crystal-covered and butterfly-cutout designs in 2013 and 2014. Brian Atwood took over in 2015, the year Gigi Hadid made her debut wearing his feathered heels, and continued designing for the show through 2018. René Caovilla supplied the footwear when the runway returned in 2024 and again in 2025, when Angel Reese made her debut as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. The shoe designer for the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is still under wraps.
