AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Radeon RX 9070 XT make a tempting pairing in a gaming desktop, and Best Buy has knocked $250 off an iBUYPOWER system that brings the two together. The white Trace PC is $2,249.99 at Best Buy, compared with the retailer’s displayed $2,499.99 comparable value.
Alongside the eight-core processor and Radeon graphics card, this configuration has 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD. That storage capacity makes more sense for a growing game library than the 1TB drives found in many ready-built PCs.
The exact model is TWRA7R97XT01. Best Buy listed the new desktop as sold by Best Buy, with shipping and pickup available in Aiea, Hawaii, when we checked. Stock and the retailer’s comparison price can vary by location.

A Radeon gaming build with 32GB of RAM and 2TB storage
The Radeon RX 9070 XT has 16GB of dedicated graphics memory, separate from the desktop’s 32GB of system RAM. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an eight-core processor from AMD’s X3D range. That combination is aimed at gamers buying a desktop for demanding titles, although actual performance varies with game, resolution and settings.
AMD’s upscaling and frame-generation features depend on game support and the settings you choose. If there is a particular title you care about, consult independent benchmarks for that game before deciding which graphics card is right for you.
The 2TB SSD leaves more space for games than a 1TB model, though Windows and installed software use part of that capacity. Back up important files separately: more local storage is useful, but it is not a substitute for a backup.
What comes with the tower?
Best Buy lists a 360mm liquid CPU cooler, Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi readiness and a keyboard and mouse with the desktop. A display is a separate purchase. Check the dimensions and ports against your setup, especially if the case needs to fit under a desk.
PC manufacturers can use components from different suppliers in prebuilt systems, so ask the retailer if a particular motherboard, graphics-card brand or other internal part matters to you. The $250 saving is based on Best Buy’s current displayed comparable value; check the final price and delivery options before ordering.
