“I’ve been hosting board game nights for nearly 20 years, and in all that time, I’ve never found a community more friendly, welcoming, and full of laughter than the tabletop world,” the founder shared on The Treasured Realm’s website. “That’s the heart behind The Treasured Realm: a space built for adventurers of all kinds, whether you’re a seasoned strategist or playing your very first game. Step inside and you’ll find more than just a table – you can discover a new favorite game, a new friend, and a memory worth holding onto.”
Beyond the games, the space will offer prepackaged food and drinks, along with a fantasy-inspired atmosphere featuring themed areas, from a fantasy forest to a grand castle hall.
The Treasured Realm is slated to open in Spring 2027 at 285 Glenwood Avenue in Bloomfield, at the former site of Blue Steel Pizza Co. According to a post on the business’s Instagram page, finding a home for the venue was a quest in itself. The search took three years before the team settled on the former pizza parlor and cocktail lounge.
“It checked every box,” the founder said in an Instagram Reel. “When I walked in, I could picture bringing The Treasured Realm to life here.”
