THE RUNDOWN
- Rosé attended the CFDA Fashion Awards for the first time this evening.
- She wore a gold Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello look, featuring a crop top and midi skirt, to the New York City event.
- The K-pop star is set to make another red carpet appearance this weekend at the LACMA Art+Film Gala, where she’ll also perform as the musical guest.
This Saturday, Rosé will perform at the LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles. But the Blackpink singer started her week off at another major red carpet event on the other side of the country: the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City. She arrived wearing a gold brocade crop top and matching midi skirt (featuring a dramatic center slit) from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello for her first time at the annual ceremony. It was held at the American Museum of Natural History.
Rosé made her last big public appearance at the Academy Gala on October 17, where she wore a sweeping black Saint Laurent gown with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
The K-pop star has also been busy working on new music. In a September interview with Vogue, she offered a glimpse into the creative process behind her upcoming second solo album. The project will come out in 2027, though the exact timing hasn’t been specified yet.
“I’ve been working on new music for quite some time now, and I’m still in the process of finding the perfect fine line between the world I want to create, how much of that expresses who I am today, and who I, personally and as a musician, am evolving into,” Rosé said. “I’m excited to see where this journey continues to take me, what sort of sound resonates [with] me, and to introduce a new era of my music next year.”
