WEEKLY magazine show “I Heart PH” takes viewers on a season of fun and adventure with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), showcasing Hong Kong as a vibrant city where heritage, creativity and modern lifestyle come together in one unforgettable experience.
“We are delighted to partner with I Heart PH once again to showcase the many experiences that can be found only in Hong Kong,” said Chian Jian Liew, Regional Director for Southeast Asia of the HKTB, during the media launch held at Winford Resort Manila on October 15.
“Hong Kong is a city where you can experience the dynamic contrast of East and West, heritage and innovation, vibrant city life and stunning nature, all within easy reach. Through this partnership, we hope Filipino travellers will be inspired to discover fresh experiences, hidden gems and unforgettable moments that make every visit to Hong Kong unlike anywhere else.”
Classic charms and new discoveries
“I Heart PH” features five destinations and experiences promising memorable journeys filled with culture, entertainment, discovery and delicious flavors.
The first stop, Hong Kong Palace Museum, showcases modern galleries and rare collections of artifacts, ceramics and paintings that tell stories of China’s dynasties and artistic traditions.
At Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, visitors can meet lifelike wax figures of personalities from entertainment, sports, music, politics and popular culture. Filipino celebrities featured include boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, Miss Universe titleholders Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, actress and TV host Anne Curtis, and box-office star Kathryn Bernardo.
The third destination, Ma Wan 1868, combines historical heritage, creative spaces, local dining and coastal scenery. Named after the year China Customs established customs stations at Kap Shui Mun, the historic fishing village offers visitors picturesque walks, landmarks such as Tin Hau Temple, and views of Tsing Ma Bridge. Famous for its sunsets, Ma Wan 1868 opened to the public in March 2025.
The Ding Ding Foodie Tour offers another way to explore Hong Kong’s culinary traditions and neighborhood life. Held aboard an air-conditioned tram, the tour features live commentary on the city’s history, streets and landmarks. “Ding Ding” refers to Hong Kong’s iconic double-decker trams and their distinctive bells.
The fifth stop, Hong Kong Disneyland, brings Disney stories to life through thrilling attractions, themed lands, entertainment and beloved characters. Its Christmas activities begin on November 20, offering families another reason to experience the magic.
Behind the brand, beyond the ordinary
The program also highlights businesses that reflect Hong Kong’s evolving identity, including Bakehouse, Kingstone Engraving, TeemTonefai, Goods of Desire (G.O.D.) and Dara.
Bakehouse combines traditional baking techniques with modern flavors. Founder Grégoire Michaud, formerly executive pastry chef at Four Seasons Hong Kong, established its first retail location in Wan Chai.
Kingstone Engraving preserves personalized craftsmanship through hand-carved stamps used as signatures and meaningful souvenirs. Meanwhile, TeemTonefai attracts customers with artisan ice cream, distinctive flavors and towering gelato stacks.
At Goods of Desire, founder and designer Douglas Young celebrates Hong Kong’s identity through accessories and home décor inspired by local life, architecture and traditions.
The program also features Dara, a Filipino restaurant that promotes comfort food heritage and provides a welcoming community space for Filipinos in Hong Kong. Co-founder and operations head Jermaine Bunoan said familiar, home-cooked Filipino meals form the foundation of the restaurant.
