iOS 27.2 Released With Siri AI and New Features

Apple has released iOS 27.2 for iPhone, bringing a new wave of Siri AI improvements, redesigned Apple apps, Apple TV profiles, Messages changes, and other updates.

The update expands Siri AI to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, widening access to Apple’s next-generation assistant beyond its initial English rollout. Apple has also continued refining the experience across iOS 27, with changes to system apps and services arriving alongside the broader AI expansion.

Apple Music receives a new black-and-white app icon and updated visual styling, while Apple Books gains redesigned reading controls and progress indicators. The Apple TV app now supports individual profiles on iPhone, helping separate recommendations, viewing history, and content restrictions for different users.

Messages also gains new Suggested Actions designed to surface relevant shortcuts based on conversation context, while Apple Podcasts receives updates to its Up Next experience. Other changes across the update include additional smart home controls and refinements introduced throughout the iOS 27.2 beta cycle.

Apple had been testing iOS 27.2 since September, with the release candidate arriving on October 19. The Apple Post previously reported on the Siri AI language expansion, as well as Apple Music’s new iOS 27.2 design.

iOS 27.2 is available now through Settings > General > Software Update on compatible iPhone models.
