How unusual this is

Five consecutive gains is not a record for Persimmon. The share price history runs from 7 September 2021 and covers 320 sessions, and this run does not set a mark within it.

In the news

Persimmon rallied on Thursday alongside Barratt Redrow, as a new home buyer scheme revived sentiment towards housebuilders. That does not account for today’s gain.
