HONG KONG, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hong Kong-based AI investment research platform ARTi showcased its “verifiable research” capabilities for individual investors and financial institutions during Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026.

As AI makes it increasingly easy to generate investment analysis, ARTi is focusing on a more fundamental question: how can an AI-generated investment view be supported by evidence, recorded and ultimately tested against real market outcomes?

The platform uses cross-validation across multiple data sources, a multi-agent research framework and automated recording and review of investment calls to move AI research beyond simply generating answers towards validating them. Each conclusion is time-stamped and linked to its underlying data and reasoning. When evidence is insufficient, the system flags what is missing; when sources conflict, it surfaces the disagreement rather than producing a seemingly complete black-box answer.

Behind that approach is a broader shift in AI-powered investment research. AI is rapidly expanding the volume, breadth and speed of information it can process, but there remains a gap between AI being capable of forming an investment view and investors being willing to commit real capital on the strength of that view. In other words, the challenge is shifting from whether AI can perform the analysis to whether its conclusions can earn investors’ trust.

ARTi CEO Eason Zhang sees that gap as an important window for the development of AI-powered investment research. Rather than asking investors to trust AI from the outset, ARTi aims to build a verifiable track record through the continuous recording and testing of investment calls. As its user base and range of real-world investment use cases expand, more calls can be recorded and tested against subsequent market outcomes, allowing the platform to build experience across asset classes, industries and market environments while refining its research system through a cycle of use, validation and iteration.

ARTi currently covers more than 16,000 securities across Hong Kong SAR, U.S. and mainland Chinese equity markets and collects more than 3.8 million data points a day. It serves both individual and institutional users through lightweight interfaces including WhatsApp, Telegram and APIs, and has built a user base of nearly 100,000. Its underlying system combines a nine-layer data architecture with a multi-agent framework, treating the reduction of AI hallucinations as an engineering problem rather than a marketing claim.

For ARTi, the significance of those nearly 100,000 users goes beyond scale. A growing base of real-world use cases generates more investment questions and more verifiable calls, allowing its research capabilities to evolve through actual market feedback. While individual AI models can be rapidly matched or surpassed, ARTi sees the accumulated data, investment calls and validation history built around real-world usage as a more durable competitive advantage.

ARTi was initially incubated within the ecosystem of DL Holdings (1709.HK) and completed a pre-Series A financing round in June 2026 with participation from C Capital, at a pre-money valuation of $30 million. The proceeds are being invested in its data infrastructure and research and development. At a time when AI capabilities are advancing faster than market trust, competition in investment research is shifting from who can generate more, faster, to whose investment calls can withstand backtesting and the scrutiny of real markets. ARTi aims to build that trust by continuously recording, testing and learning from its investment calls, allowing AI performance to be judged by the market itself.
