Gasgoo Munich- On October 29, XPENG‘s MONA L05 hit the market on October 29, offering six variants priced from RMB 144,800 to RMB 176,800.

Design and exterior

The MONA L05 carries the series’ Starship-design headlights and an AGS active grille shutter in the center of the front bumper. Its front trunk provides 102 liters of storage.

Exterior features include frameless doors and concealed lower window seals. Buyers can choose between 18-inch low-drag wheels and 20-inch five-spoke sports wheels, with the latter paired with yellow brake-caliper covers. XPENG also offers a ROAM-themed package with distinctive exterior and interior details.

Interior and space

The wraparound cabin features a dual-layer floating dashboard, with soft-touch materials covering about 74% of the interior. Equipment includes 256-color ambient lighting, a 20-speaker audio system, a 26.8-inch W-HUD and a 17.3-inch rear entertainment display.

The center console incorporates a wireless charging pad, while 22 accessory connection points can accommodate devices such as action cameras. Rear passengers receive privacy glass, Type-C ports, fold-out tables and drawer-style storage beneath the seat cushions. A two-piece panoramic glass roof spans the cabin.

The front seats offer ventilation, heating and massage functions, with a zero-gravity mode for the front passenger. The rear seats provide heating and adjustable backrest angles.

Technology and driver assistance

Digital features include the Master Agent assistant and NGP Turing AI driver-assistance system. Master Agent supports four-zone voice control, flexible navigation searches and complex trip planning.

Chassis and safety

The chassis combines MacPherson-strut front suspension with independent rear suspension. It also features DCC variable-damping shock absorbers and an AI-based predictive chassis-control function.
