A decade into designing her own clothing line, the River North resident turned toward more provocative practices, including producing a famously polarizing jumpsuit in more than 300 sizes. Today, her work sits at the intersection of creation and conversation — about waste, access, and what fashion means. She splits her time between Chicago and Mexico City, a setup she calls “a really charmed, extraordinary existence.” Her shopping is equally curious, as she hunts for unusual textures and materials and for items she hasn’t “seen a million times.”
