The Defenders are officially back together in Hell’s Kitchen. During Marvel Television’s panel at New York Comic Con 2026, Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Finn Jones took the stage to announce their reunion for the third season of Daredevil: Born Again.
That’s not all. Mike Colter was also supposed to join them on the panel. However, he was unable to attend the event due to a last-minute scheduling conflict. Nonetheless, Marvel Studios has confirmed that all four street-level heroes will share the screen in Season 3 for the first time since 2017.
Additionally, during the panel, Marvel debuted exclusive, first-look footage of Born Again Season 3 for the crowd. The teaser featured a major prison sequence where Matt Murdock dynamically crafts a makeshift orange Daredevil suit out of his prison uniform.
To jog fans’ memory a bit, Cox’s character was previously incarcerated after his identity was leaked to the world. Furthermore, the teaser also gave a first look at Jessica Jones, played by Ritter, Luke Cage, played by Colter, and Iron Fist, played by Jones, officially crossing paths again.

Daredevil: Born Again season 3 will be the final season, arriving in March 2027
Despite the series’ spectacular success, Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again will notably be the final installment of the series. As announced by Marvel, this season will serve as the series finale, wrapping up Cox’s second three-season run as the character.
The cast lineup for this final season will feature returning characters including Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, alongside Cox, Ritter, Jones, and Colter.
The filming for this 8-episode season was officially wrapped in July 2026. At present, Daredevil: Born Again is expected to premiere on Disney+ in March 2027, assuming everything goes as per schedule.
