Peacock‘s lineup this week features Steven Spielberg’s star-studded sci-fi thriller, among other new releases.
Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated sci-fi thriller, Disclosure Day, premieres on Peacock on October 9. It centers on a meteorologist and a cybersecurity whistleblower who must evade a shadow organization to expose extraterrestrial secrets. The 2026 film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.
Also releasing on Peacock this week on the same day are Season 26 of Law & Order and Season 28 of Law & Order: SVU. The mothership series retains its signature bifurcated structure. It follows both the police investigating violent crimes and the district attorneys prosecuting the offenders.
Meanwhile, Law & Order: SVU follows Captain Olivia Benson and her Manhattan squad handling cases of sexual assault and domestic violence. Alongside ADA Carisi, the series is now approaching its landmark 600th episode.
Additionally, viewers can get into the Halloween spirit with Night Swim airing on October 5. The 2024 supernatural horror film follows a former baseball player, Ray Waller, played by Wyatt Russell, who moves into a suburban home with his family. They soon discover their backyard pool is haunted, fueled by a sinister healing spring.
