Home fans inspire 3K to victory in Mlima Derby
Newly promoted 3K FC emerged victorious in the highly anticipated Mlima Derby, handing Murang’a Seal a 2-1 defeat at Embu Stadium.
While the team played with zeal and intensity, 3K possessed a massive advantage of the home crowd, who filled the stadium and cheered almost every touch.
Just like they did in the National Super League (NSL), 3K are slowly but surely turning Embu Stadium into a fortress for visiting FKFPL teams.
Different coaches, same result for Police FC
The 2024 Mozzart Bet Cup champions’ early struggles continue despite a change in the dugout.
After picking up a single point in their opening two matches, Police parted ways with coach Nicholas Muyoti and appointed former Bidco United tactician Anthony Akhulia in an acting capacity.
In his first match in charge, Akhulia made one change to the team that lost to AFC Leopards and just as they had a blunt attack and underwhelming display against Ingwe, Police’s poor form earned Mombasa United their first point in the top flight following a barren draw.
