On Monday, local preschoolers at the Goddard School of Cary – Lochmere became
junior reporters.
The school celebrated World News Day by having students
create “good news” collages and build their own news studios in their
classrooms.
The children were well-prepared to ask questions and share
stories with microphones, press badges and toy cameras.
“Just like young learners, journalists are curious – they ask questions, listen, investigate ideas, make discoveries and share stories about the world around them,” said Sheetal Kedia, co-owner of The Goddard School of Cary – Lochmere.
WRAL Anchor Ashley Rowe visited the children as part of the
event.
