Oppo has been teasing the arrival of the Reno 17 series in China for quite some time. Now, the brand has finally revealed the exact launch date and it is closer than expected.
The official Oppo China Weibo account has confirmed that the Reno 17 series will launch on November 9, 2026. The company also shared a short teaser video with the Reno 17 branding and has already opened blind pre-orders for the Reno 17 series in China.
Oppo Reno 17 Series: What to Expect
Even though the Oppo Reno 17 series launches next week, Oppo has remained tight-lipped about what to expect this time. The Reno 17 series is expected to include the standard Oppo Reno 17 and the Reno 17 Pro.
Oppo has not shared any specs yet. However, several leaks have given us an idea of what to expect. Both phones are tipped to come with flat OLED displays with up to a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera.
Reports also suggest a big battery upgrade, with the standard Reno 17 tipped to pack a battery of up to 8,000mAh. As for the processor, leaks point to either the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset or MediaTek’s Dimensity 8550.
Both phones will likely ship with Android 17 and ColorOS 17 features out of the box. Rumoured colours include Snow White, Ice Moon White, Cocoa Brown and Starlight Pink.
That said, Oppo has not confirmed an India launch of the Reno 17 series yet. However, according to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Reno 17 could arrive in the country in early 2027, but the Reno 17 Pro may not launch in India at all.
