As online gaming increasingly overlaps with livestream entertainment, OnlyFun.PH is putting age verification and responsible gaming safeguards at the center of its strategy to address concerns over underage exposure and player protection.
The Bloomberry Resorts Corp.-operated platform recently introduced FollowBet x VMX Live, which allows users to watch content creators, interact with them in real time and participate in games without leaving the livestream.
Age-gating measures
Combining entertainment and gambling creates additional challenges for operators, particularly in preventing minors from accessing gaming-related content through shared household devices.
Operating under the license and regulation of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., FollowBet enforces strict content monitoring and broadcast guidelines throughout every livestream.
OnlyFun.PH said FollowBet’s safeguards include age-gating measures, enterprise-grade know-your-customer verification and identity checks to ensure only eligible users can access livestreams.
It also has built-in responsible gaming controls that ensure a safe user environment for both streamers and players.

She emphasized the importance of age verification to ensure that only eligible users can access and watch its livestreams.
Deposit and betting limits
Beyond age verification, the platform monitors livestreams and requires content creators to comply with broadcasting guidelines.
It also provides deposit and betting limits to help players manage their spending, alongside access to support resources.

Creating a community
The initiative forms part of FUNaloMAX’s expansion into interactive digital entertainment, following the announcement of OnlyFun.PH’s inclusion in its portfolio earlier this month.
