Mark Harmon is best known for his role as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs on the 18-season crime drama, NCIS.
But before the actor made a name for himself in Hollywood, he modelled for a Baxter of California skincare magazine advert in a campaign that saw him looking completely unrecognizable.

While studying at UCLA in the early seventies, Mark played quarterback for UCLA’s American football team.
It was also while at university that he first acted on-screen, appearing as Ricky Nelson in the seventies sitcom Ozzie’s Girls alongside Ozzie and Hannah Nelson.
Before landing his breakthrough role as Robert Dunlap in Eleanor and Franklin: The White House Years (1977), for which he earned his first Emmy nomination, Mark featured in smaller guest roles on shows including Police Story, Laverne & Shirley, and Adam-12.
Mark’s acting career continued to grow from strength to strength, starring as Fielding Carlyle in Flamingo Road and later as Dr Robert Caldwell in St Elsewhere.
