Villarreal vs. Napoli – the key men
Alberto Moleiro – Villarreal
Alberto Moleiro found his form before the international break, providing two goals and two assists in Villarreal’s La Liga victories over Malaga and Levante.
The left midfielder has a higher expected goals on target (0.66) and expected assists (0.46) per 90 than any player in his position in the Spanish top tier this season.
If he is given time and space, then he can hurt the away side’s right flank.

Kevin De Bruyne – Napoli
Napoli have a host of injuries, but the form of Kevin De Bruyne over the international break was a timely reminder of his match-winning ability.
The midfielder bagged two worldies for Belgium against Turkiye in their Nations League triumph and will be rested after serving a suspension against France.
Allegri’s men are short in midfield, but a De Bruyne masterclass can be the difference.
Villarreal vs. Napoli prediction
Villarreal are in better shape heading into this one, although the international break has provided time for a reset, so a draw feels like a likely result for two closely matched teams in need of points.
Prediction: Villarreal 1-1 Napoli
