threeASFOUR: Full Circle Trailer

“Are we making fashion or are we making something else?” The trailer has debuted for a documentary film titled threeASFOUR: Full Circle, a profile of the design consortium known as “threeASFOUR” based in New York City. This is directed by John Lennon’s famous son Sean Ono Lennon as his very first feature film. It first premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival. For “threeASFOUR”, fashion is an act of creativity, collaboration and cultural connection. But after more than two decades of acclaim, can these three artists who refuse to sell out survive in an industry built on compromise? Avant-garde NYC designers Gabi Asfour, Angela Donhauser, and Adi Gil create “couture-on-the-street” designs in a radical collaborative act shaped by war, identity, and hope. This diverse group of designers, who hail from Lebanon/Palestine, Russia, and Israel, combine cutting-edge technologies with their expert couture craftsmanship to promote international, intercultural and interspecies unity. This new documentary about them, threeASFOUR: Full Circle featuring Kai Kühne, is a meditation on friendship, resilience, and the pursuit of peace and creativity. This looks like a compelling profile of vibrant fashion artists + a look at how much their industry has changed over the years.

For more than 25 years, the designers behind the avant-garde fashion collective threeASFOUR— Gabi Asfour (Lebanese-Palestinian), Angela Donhauser (German-Tajikistani), Adi Gil (Israeli) — have created clothing with uncompromising vision. Drawing inspiration from natural forms & pioneering techniques, they have continually pushed the boundaries of what fashion can be, earning them a cult following, global museum exhibitions, and fans like Björk & Chloë Sevigny. Yet behind the acclaim lies an ongoing challenge to survive in an industry driven by commerce. The film is a moving portrait of three iconoclasts daring to center creativity and cross-cultural collaboration over money & profit. threeASFOUR: FULL CIRCLE is a doc directed by actor / musician / filmmaker Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon & Yoko Ono, making his directorial debut with this project. It’s co-directed by Brian C. González. Written and edited by Jenny Golden. Produced by Beth Levison; and also Lauren Evangelista, Brian C. González, Daniel Sheppard. This first premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. Sean Ono Lennon’s threeASFOUR: FULL CIRCLE doc opens in select US theaters starting on November 13th, 2026 this fall.
