The Coffee Rave took place today from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on the Tiger Den patio, bringing music and treats to the campus Friday afternoon.
Attendees were able to relax on the patio and listen to a live DJ while grabbing free coffee, hot cocoa, cookies, brownies and other treats. This was the second attempt at hosting the rave since the first event originally planned for Oct. 2 was cancelled due to rain.
The highlight for many was the cup bedazzling station, where people could decorate their coffee cups with extra flair. Organizers supplied all the crafting materials so students could easily design their items on-site.
The patio served as a spot for students to hang out, chat and show off their creative work in the chilly weather. For those with a busy schedule or afternoon classes, the event was easy to drop by. The setup was a convenient midday break for those who could stay, as well as a quick pick-me-up for those just swinging by.
