For the month of October, Bazaar will be celebrating our obsessions—how they delight us, connect us, and keep us going. Tune in each day for a new story, or go here to read them all.

“Did I show you the pill?” Bazaar’s Miguel Enamorado asked me while sifting through clippings of accessories from the fall/winter 2026 collections. He opened his camera roll to the “pill” in question—a two-tone Side-to-Side Trio bag by Celine, rendered in the familiar red-and-white color scheme of a Tylenol capsule. While it may not cure your migraine, studies show it alleviates symptoms of wardrobe fatigue in more ways than one.

First introduced in 2011 under Phoebe Philo, the Trio is named after its construction: three clutches fused together like an accordion, tucked inconspicuously within its shell from front to back. While the square silhouette reads like a box bag at first glance, the dimensional sequence of one clutch to the next remains visible from either side.

Editors who attended Celine’s fall/winter 2026 show witnessed its return to the runway by the seventh look. A model clutched a grape-purple satin Side-to-Side Trio that stood out against her little black suit. It had been modified from the original in a few sleek ways: forgoing the external metal zippers of previous editions, Rider introduced a discreet Triomphe snap to conceal the bag’s internal compartments. The fluid design extended into the straps, too. What once was a traditional crossbody strap became two slender cords, made adjustable with sliding knot mechanisms. Even the jersey cloth lining was swapped out for buttery suede.

These adjustments stay consistent throughout the Trio collection, from the new classic that mirrors the square dimensions of the original to the first batch of Side-to-Side renditions that take on an oblong silhouette. The latter are shoppable in five color combinations: black, white, purple, red, and red-and-white.

While the red-and-white stands out as a dual-strength remedy for wardrobe burnout, each colorway functions like an over-the-counter solution for your wardrobe needs. Think of the black as a daily probiotic: an essential poised to bring balance to whatever you conjure up from your closet. The purple is the accessory equivalent of vitamin B12, a vibrant boost that brings an intellectual twist to tonal neutrals, like a two-piece slate gray suit or a beige knit and camel-colored trousers. The red? A little shot of ginger, poised to spice up a khaki trench or head-to-toe denim with its potent hue. Lastly, the white functions like a swab of fluoride that reinforces enamel-colored knits.

Maybe it’s the placebo effect, but I think the Trio is enough to sustain dopamine levels from day to night. Crafted in petal-soft lambskin or lustrous satin, Rider’s archival revival is a triple threat that leverages form, function, and style.
