Blake Lively’s Instagram gives a practical look at how she decorates the New York home she shares with Ryan Reynolds and their four children. Although she first shared these DIY craft ideas in 2022, they are still easy to remake for Halloween 2026.
Her original photos of her Halloween setup inspired many people to try their own fall projects. Four years later, those ideas remain at the top of fall trends. And it’s easy to see why.
She combined floral pumpkin displays with pastel unicorn pumpkins to create a simple, neat look. These projects are eye-catching yet easy to do, making them ideal for families.

Her Halloween decor idea – seen in her flower pumpkins, painted gourds, and a unicorn cake for her daughter – is fun and straightforward without looking overdone. To get the look, begin with a live pumpkin, like this one from Wayfair, then dress it with faux flowers and pink feathers, both of which are available at Amazon.
Shop the Look
A white pumpkin is the perfect starting point for recreating Blake’s Halloween look. This one from Walmart is just the right size for adding your own design without taking over your room. At under $5, I’d pick up a few and have fun getting creative.
Kesoto 50pcs Pink Roses Artificial Flowers
Once you have your pumpkin, these fabric flowers are the next step in recreating Blake’s Halloween look. This pack of 50 offers plenty to decorate your design, with extras for other creative projects (and they’ll last until next fall).
These fresh pumpkins are ideal for recreating Blake’s second, more experimental ice pumpkin look (seen below). Perfect for carving or styling as a table centerpiece, they offer a simple way to bring her Halloween aesthetic into your own home.
Pink Feathers for Crafting
These pink craft feathers are the next step in recreating Blake’s pumpkin design. With 100 in a pack, there are many to experiment with, whether you’re decorating pumpkins or adding a yet more flair to your displays.
Fresh Mini Tiger Striped Pumpkins
With their unusual striped skins, these pumpkins are a fun alternative to the classic orange variety. Use them to recreate Blake’s more experimental Halloween look, or group all three together for a centerpiece that feels even more intentional.
Orgrimmarl Lifelike Halloween Pumpkins
These artificial pumpkins are an easy way to bring the look together without worrying about any mess. Their realistic finish makes them a convincing addition to a fall display, and they can be packed away and reused year after year.
Blake’s children helped inspire the pastel pink and white unicorn designs, which offer a twist on traditional fall decor. White pumpkins were a major interior design trend that year – and they are still a popular choice for Halloween 2026. Another practical idea was an LA-style succulent arrangement set inside a large white pumpkin.
To get the look of this no-carve design, spray a clean pumpkin with adhesive and cover the top with Sphagnum moss. Then use hot glue to attach succulent cuttings and dried flowers, starting from the middle and working outward to keep it balanced. It is a clean design that lasts through the entire autumn season.
Blake also shared a practical pumpkin ice bucket. She hollowed out a large traditional pumpkin, filled it with ice, and stocked it with Betty Buzz mixers.
Adding cinnamon sticks and apple slices made the ice bucket look like a deliberate table centerpiece. Commenting on the effort involved, she joked, ‘I fought. But the ice won,’ keeping the project grounded and fun.
Instead of scary Halloween props, Blake chose a warmer, more subtle fall craft idea. Sitting outside by a patio fireplace surrounded by different types of pumpkins, she showed how easy it is to create a cozy outdoor space.
Despite wearing a Christmas jumper in the original picture, the overall style is functional, welcoming, and well-planned. Will you be trying any of her decorating ideas this year?
