Caleb Flynn sentenced after being convicted of murdering wife Ashley Flynn

Caleb Flynn has been sentenced to life in prison with no parole for murdering his wife, Ashley, in February 2026. The judge stated that his violent actions displayed “deceit, manipulation, and cruelty.” He is also asked to pay an amount of $20,000 to Ashley’s family for funeral expenses.

His lawyer, Patrick Mulligan, told Entertainment Weekly that Flynn maintained his innocence in court and that they plan to file an appeal to overturn the convictions. “We will file a Notice of Appeal once the sentencing entry is filed. This will begin a long process with the goal of overturning his convictions. Since the case was tried and the judge was required to make numerous decisions, his appellate team will have arguments to put forward,” he continued.

Initially, Flynn didn’t immediately admit it but rather placed the blame on the intruders who, he said, broke into the house and committed the crime. During the trial, several pieces of evidence were offered, including Flynn’s iPhone and Apple Watch. While testifying, several witnesses were also called forward, including his former mistress and intern Alleigha Botner.

Their messages were also read aloud in court, with some of them revealing violent intentions toward Ashley. For instance, one message to Botner read, “I was up until 4 a.m. last night crying, literally thinking of ways to kill her and not go to jail.”  Following the trial, he was charged with three counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, and three counts of tampering with evidence.
