NYC Marathon 2026: Celebrity Runners to Cheer On

Chelley Bissainthe, Carl Radke and Tiki Barber will also run the NYC Marathon this year

New York’s hottest celebrity sighting this weekend might involve a foil blanket and a banana. The NYC Marathon returns on Sunday, November 1, with a famous field that could populate everything from a Broadway cast to several reality TV reunions.

According to New York Road Runners, this year’s A-list participants will join roughly 60,000 runners for the 26.2-mile trip through all five boroughs. The race celebrates the 50th anniversary of its five-borough course, with organizers aiming to raise $100 million for official charity partners.

So, whose name should go on your cheer sign? Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly is running for Fred’s Team, while Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski supports City Harvest. Dylan Efron—of The Traitors and Dancing with the Stars fame—will also trade screen time for pavement time. The acting contingent includes Patina Miller, Erika Henningsen, Merle Dandridge, Jordan Litz, Joshua Bassett and Benjamin Walker, along with Ellie Fisher, the wife of Broadway star Jordan Fisher.

Bachelor Nation has apparently found another reason to hand out encouraging signs. Joe Amabile, Matt James, Hannah Ann Sluss, Blake Horstmann, Zac Clark, Greg Grippo, Andrew Spencer and Tayshia Adams are all on the roster.

Reality TV’s representation continues with Summer House’s Carl Radke and Luke Gulbranson; Survivor’s Kyle Fraser, Mitch Guerra and Noelle Lambert; Dance Moms alum Chloe Lukasiak; Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino; Love Island USA’s Chelley Bissainthe; Cory Wharton; and Catfish host Nēv Schulman and his wife, Laura Perlongo.

Sports fans can cheer for Tiki Barber, Justin Britt, James Milner, Darby Allin, William Goodge and Rich Roll, plus Sam Judge, wife of Yankees star Aaron Judge.

Your workout screen may look familiar, too: Peloton instructors Robin Arzón, Mariana Fernandez, Hannah Frankson, Alex Karwoski, Zacharias Niedswiecki, Ash Pryor, Camila Ramón and Matt Wilpers are participating.

The music-and-media crowd includes Del Water Gap, N.O.R.E., P-Lo, Mychal Threets, Casey Neistat, Oz Pearlman, Zarna Garg, Karen Sarahi Gonzalez and Allison Kucharczyk.

Rounding out NYRR’s announced lineup are Errol Barnett, Brian Cheung, Matt Brickman, T.J. Holmes, Liz Cho, Mike Marza and New York Times executives Meredith Kopit Levien and Diane Brayton, who are running with 10 colleagues. Many participants are fundraising as well, including Bassett for NAMI, Lukasiak for TheaterWorksUSA and Gulbranson for Blood Cancer United.

Bring your loudest outdoor voice and get ready to cheer—at mile 23, even someone accustomed to applause could probably use a little more.
