Man United’s next five fixtures compared to Premier League rivals after Bournemouth defeat

Manchester United fell to defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, consigning them to just above the relegation zone

Manchester United have three tough trips away in the Premier League as they balance dangerously above the relegation zone following the loss to Bournemouth.

The Reds’ dismal 3-0 defeat saw them slip to 16th place, level on points with Crystal Palace. Michael Carrick benched captain Bruno Fernandes after he questioned his tactics in a brutal interview following the 4-1 loss to Como in midweek.

The tough games are coming thick and fast for United too with Stamford Bridge calling their name next. They then host Aston Villa before travelling to Anfield to face Liverpool after the international break. United host Brentford on November 28 and then travel to Newcastle a week later.

With pressure continuing to grow on Carrick, fans will be questioning exactly what they can expect from their club moving forward. Here, Manchester Evening News has listed United’s next five fixtures and how they compare to their Premier League rivals.
