PARK CITY, Kan. (KWCH) — One person was arrested and 11 others were escorted out during a midterm rally headlined by President Donald Trump Monday night in Park City.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested one person near the designated free-speech area for willfully failing to comply with a lawful order to regulate traffic, in violation of K.S.A. 8-1503.
Inside Heartland Credit Union Arena, law enforcement escorted out 11 “uninvited individuals who caused disruptions.”

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and Park City Police Department coordinated with the U.S. Secret Service and other local agencies to provide security for the event. About 70 local law enforcement personnel supported Secret Service staff at the arena and in the surrounding area.
The Wichita Police Department’s Mounted Unit and K-9 Unit also supported the effort, which focused on protecting attendees, community members, motorists and event staff.
Sedgwick County Fire District No. 1 reported about 6,000 people entered the arena, while several hundred more gathered outside. Thousands traveled from across Kansas for the event.
The sheriff’s office thanked attendees, community members, event staff and partner agencies for their patience, cooperation and understanding during the large-scale event.
