Sassuolo have made wholesale changes to their team to face Fiorentina in Serie A on Monday evening, following a 6-2 defeat against Lazio last time out, as Paolo Vanoli sticks with an unchanged XI led by Argentines Mateo Pellegrino and Franco Mastantuono.
Sassuolo are hoping to bounce back after a 6-2 thrashing by Lazio last time out in Serie A. They have gone five matches without a win in the league: Their most recent victory came against Juventus shortly before the September-October international break.

Alberto Aquilani’s side have eight points from their first nine league matches of the 2026-27 season and find themselves in 15th place ahead of kick-off.
Visitors Fiorentina have also gone five league matches without a victory: Their most recent coming away against Venezia a few days before Sassuolo’s most recent win. That was the Viola’s only league win of the season so far, which leaves them in 17th place with just five points to their name after nine matches before Monday evening’s game.

Sassuolo have made sweeping changes to their starting line-up for Monday’s game against Fiorentina.
The constants are the goalkeeper, Stefano Turati, and the front three of Domenico Berardi, Sebastiano Esposito and Armand Lauriente. Josh Doig keeps his place at left-back, but otherwise everybody else has been swapped out. Nemanja Matic and Vasilije Adzic return in midfield, as does Ibrahim Sulemana to replace the suspended Kristjan Thorstvedy.
Paolo Vanoli has opted for continuity and has named the exact same Fiorentina starting XI as the one that lined up for the 2-2 draw against Atalanta last week. Pellegrino leads the line with attacking support from Mastantuono and Alieu Njie.
Kick-off is due at 17.30 GMT.
