Halle Berry Makes Her Feelings Clear After Zendaya Copied Her X-Men Look for Halloween

Hollywood star Halle Berry recently took to social media to share her reaction to Zendaya‘s Halloween look. She recently sported Berry’s iconic ensemble from the New York City premiere of her 2000 film X-Men. In response, Berry had nothing but praise for the ‘Euphoria’ actor.

Halle Berry says ‘she won’ after Zendaya’s X-Men Halloween look

Berry reposted Complex Style’s post of Zendaya‘s Halloween look and shared what she thought about it on X (formerly Twitter). In the image, Zendaya wore a stringy Lanvin bikini top, paired with flared pants, brown glasses, and beige heels. Her look was a tribute to Berry’s “X-Men” world premiere outfit from July 2002. She wrote, “she won,” with a sprinkle emoji.

Many fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One wrote, “Mother has spoken.” Another added, “There are no losers between you and Zendaya.” A third one mentioned, “I would say that if anyone else tried to channel that specific look of yours, Zendaya won.” Other reactions also included, “Nah. You both have been, currently are, and always will be winners” and “its a tie.”

In the X-Men movie, Berry played Ororo Munroe / Storm. The superhero movie centers on Magneto, who kidnaps a young mutant in the hopes of misusing her powers to destroy mankind. However, the X-Men and Wolverine don’t let that happen, as they team up to stop Magneto’s evil plans.

The movie’s cast members included Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Bruce Davison, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Ray Park, Tyler Mane, and Shawn Ashmore in key roles.

Berry is currently involved in two entertainment projects. She is starring in and producing an upcoming drama movie called Fleur. Moreover, she will also appear in the upcoming thriller film, Red Card. Ahead of this, she played Sharon Colvin in Crime 101, which starred Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Barry Keoghan. It was released in February 2026 in the US.
