The PSG locomotive shows no signs of stopping, and Villarreal will need to produce something special if they are to avoid becoming their latest Champions League victim.
Luis Enrique’s men are one of five unbeaten sides in Europe’s premier competition and top the pile ahead of Aston Villa on goals scored.
The French outfit are on a nine-match winning streak which includes Champions League victories over Slovan Bratislava, Manchester City and Barcelona.
Villarreal, on the other hand, are aiming to bounce back after defeat to Espanyol in La Liga and were on the wrong end of a seven-goal thriller with Liverpool a fortnight ago.
Can anyone stop the reigning champions? Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Villarreal vs. PSG.

Villarreal vs. PSG – the key men
Georges Mikautadze – Villarreal
PSG will be very familiar with Georges Mikautadze from his time with Lyon, and he has been Villarreal’s danger man this season with five goals in all competitions.
The Georgian faced the Parisians twice during his time with Lyon, bagging a goal and an assist, but he lost all three matches against them during his time in France.
Mikautadze has two goals and an assist in three Champions League appearances this term and four goals in his last eight in all competitions for the Yellow Submarine.

Vitinha – PSG
PSG will be without several of their attacking stars, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembélé, but look no further than their midfield talisman to dictate play on Tuesday night.
Vitinha was the difference-maker against Barcelona in Matchday 3, killing off the La Liga champions’ comeback, and also bagged a goal against City.
The Portuguese always delivers in Europe and has forged a name as one of the world’s best midfielders.
Villarreal vs. PSG prediction
Villarreal have scored eight goals in three Champions League matches but have only taken three points, so expect them to be outscored by the deadliest attack in Europe.
Prediction: Villarreal 1-3 PSG
