Chanel Oberlin’s favourite autumnal tradition might be a trenta, no foam, five-shot half-caf, no foam pumpkin spice latte (with no foam) two degrees before boiling point, but ours is most definitely keeping tabs on celebrity Halloween costumes. The 2026 edition has delivered everything from elaborate creature transformations to pop culture moments that require an unhealthy amount of screen time to understand. After all, Halloween is one of the few occasions when a celebrity’s commitment to a look can be measured in prosthetics, special effects makeup, and the occasional questionable wig.
The Blackpink girls are never one to disappoint. Lisa took the plunge as a dark, deep-sea siren, complete with blue-black scales, elongated claws, fangs, and a dramatic mermaid tail. Fellow Blackpink member Jisoo went in a futuristic direction as Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, sporting the character’s asymmetrical white hair and cyberpunk-inspired ensemble. Jennie raced back to the early 2000s for her costume, channelling Suki from 2 Fast 2 Furious. At this point, it is a rite of passage for every Asian girl to dress up as Suki at least once for Halloween. Jennie’s interpretation was practically one-for-one—the purple crop top, hot-pink bottoms, silver belt, and matching thigh-high boots were all accounted for, as was the long honey-blonde hair. She even posed beside a red Honda for the full street-racing fantasy.
A number of Thai stars got in on the spooky festivities as well. Baifern Pimchanok opted for a classic this time around, going as Padmé Amidala from Star Wars. Davika Hoorne—who went as the Bride of Dracula last year—took the Disney villain route as Cruella de Vil, in all her devilish black-and-white glamour. Below, more famous faces getting into character for Halloween.
