Celebrity pregnancy reveals are often headline-making events — especially when they happen on live TV.
Dancing with the Stars, for example, has hosted not one but two pregnancy announcements. In October 2014, Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that his wife, Angela, was expecting during season 19. Twelve years later, Tyler Cameron and his fiancée, Tate Madden, shared their pregnancy and the sex of their baby in October 2026. The couple had previously announced their engagement two months prior, in August 2026.
“I get to be a girl dad,” Cameron said on DWTS after the big reveal. “What a gift, what an opportunity.”

After announcing their engagement in August 2026, Madden joined Cameron and his pro partner, Sharna Burgess, on season 35 of DWTS for Dedication Night on Oct. 20.
The trio did a contemporary performance to the tune of “Supermarket Flowers” by Ed Sheeran. Midway through the dance, Madden revealed her baby bump. Pink confetti then rained down from the ceiling while the trio spoke with the judges.
“It’s going to change everything in our lives,” Cameron told PEOPLE of parenthood. “Our parents gave us a great life, and I want us to give this little baby an even greater life.”

Cameron and Madden’s surprise announcement wasn’t the first time that DWTS hosted a pregnancy reveal. Back in October 2014, celebrity contestant Alfonso shared the news of his wife Angela’s third pregnancy during season 19’s Halloween-themed night. Their son Anders was born a few months later on April 30, 2015.
