Step forward Pedro Neto. Chelsea’s versatile star can do it all… anywhere on the pitch.
Neto scored twice as Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea outclassed Everton 2-0 in week seven of the Premier League.
The Portuguese, who has switched to wing-back under the new Chelsea boss, topped the SuperCoach EPL charts with a 24-point haul against Everton, increasing his season tally to 53. Despite his latest heroics, Neto features in just 0.8% of teams and costs £8.07 million.
“You can call him whatever – winger, wing-back, attacker, defender – because he can do many things,” Alonso said in quotes on the club’s official website.
“Pedro has great qualities. He’s always a threat, has a great competitive level, he can run, do one-v-ones, can score goals.
“He’s so competitive. When he’s close to the action, he’s a threat against any full-back. When he’s on the last line or in between, he connects well with the players around, with Joao [Pedro], with Cole [Palmer], with Josh [Acheampong] as well. They worked really well, and I’m happy he could score.”
From the obvious superstar to some of the players at clubs who keep on stepping up, here are the rest of the top performers from the weekend.
With eight of the spots taken up by players outside the traditional Premier League ‘big six’ powerhouses, can you snag a bargain by bringing one of them into your squad?
Erling Haaland, 22 points, £13,320,000, Manchester City
Next game: Aston Villa (away)
Another two goals, another monster SuperCoach return. The Norwegian superstar has now collected 77 points at an average of 12.8 per game for the league leaders this season, and with 65.2% ownership, he’s becoming a dangerous player to go without.
Charalampos Kostoulas, 21 points, £7,890,000, Brighton and Hove Albion
Next game: Liverpool (away)
A goal and an assist in Brighton’s 5-0 demolition of rivals Crystal Palace suddenly has the Greek forward looking like serious SuperCoach EPL business. His price has already jumped £4million this season. But with a 2.8% ownership, there’s still an opportunity to get ahead of the pack at a very reasonable price for an attacker.
Olivier Boscagli, 20 points, £8,600,000, Brighton and Hove Albion
Next game: Liverpool (away)
Here’s a differential worth investigating. The Brighton defender collected 20 points against Palace, taking his season tally to 52, yet features in only 0.3% of SuperCoach squads. The Frenchman has also added £1.6m to his starting price. The Seagulls are worth investing in this season, it seems.
Evanilson, 20 points, £7,690,000, Bournemouth
Next game: Manchester United (away)
Bournemouth’s Brazilian attacker delivered a goal and an assist against Sunderland. His season tally is now 54 points. At £7.69m and with ownership of just 0.6%, he could be one of the more intriguing attacking options outside the premium bracket.
Marcus Tavernier, 17 points, £10,290,000, Bournemouth
Next game: Manchester United (away)
A timely return to form for the Bournemouth midfielder, whose 17-point haul against Sunderland sees him rise to 60 for 2026-27. His price has dropped £1.1m recently, potentially opening the door for managers looking to buy low.
Diego Gomez, 17 points, £8,700,000, Brighton and Hove Albion
Next game: Liverpool (away)
Another Brighton player demanding attention, for more reasons than one. Not only did the Paraguay international score an outrageous goal from the halfway line, Gomez has quietly accumulated 63 points at an average of 10.5 per game. Yet only 2.5% of managers own him. Valued at £8.7m, he’s a genuine alternative to some of the competition’s more expensive midfielders.
Johan Manzambi, 17 points, £6,830,000, Aston Villa
Next game: Manchester City (home)
One for the bargain hunters. Manzambi’s 17-point performance against Newcastle United takes him to 40 points from just three appearances, averaging an impressive 13.3 per game. His price has already surged £2.3m, but he’s still owned by only 16.7% of managers.
Luka Vuskovic, 16 points, £9,610,000, Brighton and Hove Albion
Next game: Liverpool (away)
The highly-rated Croatian defender continues to justify his growing reputation as a SuperCoach asset. Another clean sheet helped him to 16 points against Palace, with his season tally nowat 67. He’s hardly a hidden gem anymore though, with a 52.1% ownership. Another Brighton star, Yasin Ayari, at £8,190,000, Phil Foden and Alex Iwobi also grabbed 16 points.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 15 points, £8,830,000, Leeds United
Next game: Sunderland (away)
We’ll also call out the Leeds marksman, as he’s been super consistent this season with a 45 point total at a 7.5 average across the campaign. His 15-point return against Manchester United is a reminder of his potential for SuperCoach EPL managers, as he features in just 1.5% of squads. It makes him a potential differential for managers willing to take a punt on Leeds maintaining the rage this term.
