Peacock‘s releases this week feature a hidden-gem comedy starring Danny DeVito and Awkwafina, among others.
Arriving on October 19, Migration is a 2023 animated adventure comedy from Illumination and Universal Pictures. It follows Mack, a cautious Mallard father whose family convinces him to leave home for an unforgettable trip. After encouragement from his free-spirited wife Pam and their kids Dax and Gwen, he agrees to trade their quiet New England pond for a winter trip to Jamaica.
The film stars Kumail Nanjiani as Mack and Elizabeth Banks as Pam. Caspar Jennings and Tresi Gazal voice their kids, Dax and Gwen. Meanwhile, Danny DeVito brings the grumpy Uncle Dan to life. The supporting cast includes Keegan-Michael Key as Delroy, Awkwafina as Chump, Carol Kane as Erin, David Mitchell as GooGoo, and Isabela Merced as Kim.
Meanwhile, on the reality side, Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas Season 1 debuts on October 21. The series follows Lisa Vanderpump as she prepares to launch The Vanderpump Hotel in Las Vegas. It documents how she expands her hospitality empire in the lead-up to the grand opening.
Another exciting release hitting Peacock this week is The Wolves of Real Estate, premiering on October 25. The three-part documentary tells the story of brothers Oren, Tal, and Alon Alexander. They built their names as top-tier luxury real estate brokers and private security contacts for wealthy and celebrity clients in New York City, Miami, the Hamptons, and Aspen.
