SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Fashion, food and a love for animals are coming together for a special fundraiser benefiting Donte’s Den.
Scout & Molly’s Lakewood Ranch is hosting the Donte’s Den Luncheon Fashion Show on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Pascone’s Ristorante on University Parkway.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will feature a fashion show with looks from Scout & Molly’s, along with lunch, a cash bar and an afternoon dedicated to supporting Donte’s Den and the animals in its care.
Donte’s Den was founded by Marsha Panuce and provides a home and care for animals in need in Myakka City.
Panuce is familiar to ABC7 viewers. She hosts Animal Outtakes, which airs every Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. on ABC7. She also hosts ABC7’s weekly Pet of the Week segment on ABC7 News at Noon, helping introduce viewers to local animals looking for forever homes.
The luncheon fashion show gives the community another way to support the work of Donte’s Den while enjoying an afternoon of fashion, food and four-legged friends.
Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate the animals while raising awareness and support for the mission of Donte’s Den.
