Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR) offers large organizations a simple deal. They can plug any AI model into their operations and still keep their data, logic, and know-how under their own control.

Its AIP platform runs on top of Foundry and Gotham, and that pitch has produced the fastest growth in Palantir’s history. Revenue rose 93% year-over-year last quarter, and CEO Alex Karp called the quarter “otherworldly”.

The stock has rallied sharply. Shares are up 15.52% year-to-date and 20.58% over the past month. They have rose 76% from June’s month-end close of $116.67. So what would it take for Palantir to hit $300 per share in 2027?

Here’s the Math Behind $300 Per Share

At today’s price, Palantir trades at about 88x estimated 2027 earnings. At $300, that multiple rose to about 128x. That is a high premium. Palantir supports it with a Rule of 40 score of 155%, a 62% adjusted operating margin, and 2026 adjusted free cash flow guidance of $4.5 billion to $4.7 billion.

What Could Push Palantir to $300?

  • Serial guidance raises: Full-year revenue guidance has rose from $7.18 billion to $7.65 billion to $8.15 billion.

  • U.S. commercial growth: Revenue grew 149% to $764 million, while U.S. commercial TCV reached $2.132 billion.

  • Customer expansion: Net dollar retention hit 157%, and Palantir closed 220 deals worth $1 million or more.

  • Management ambition: Karp said, “I am driving the business to grow at a rate equal to or above what we have in U.S. commercial for the next 18 months.”

  • Government momentum: U.S. government revenue rose 90%. Even so, Department of War revenue remains under 25 basis points of the Pentagon’s budget.

Palantir’s History Shows a 46% Gain Is Within Reach

Hitting $300 requires a 46% gain. Palantir has cleared that bar in three straight years. Shares rose 167% in 2023, 340% in 2024, and 135% in 2025. The stock also swings hard both ways.

It has a beta of 1.6 and fell 65% in 2022. With a market cap near $472.4 billion, triple-digit gains are harder to repeat. A 46% move still fits well within Palantir’s track record.

$300 Is a Stretch, but Palantir Has the Growth Engine

Getting to $300 requires a 46% gain and a forward multiple near 128x. Several things support that case. Estimates keep rising, Palantir keeps beating them, U.S. commercial demand is accelerating, and its sovereign AI pitch is winning over large companies.

Valuation remains the main hurdle. Stock-based compensation of $265 million last quarter is also worth tracking. Yearly returns may vary at this level, and rising estimates, accelerating demand, and consistent beats show how Palantir could see outsized returns in 2027.
