Knits and corduroy, long sleeves and loafers, and a touch of Gucci horsebit: It’s autumn in the Swift-Kelce house.
While Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s date-night looks frequently embrace the magic of mismatched couple style, last night, the newlyweds headed to dinner in perfect sartorial synchronicity. Photographed outside of the Jane Hotel’s Old Rose restaurant, they were seen in coordinating takes on preppy fall fashion—working within the same neutral color palette of deep greens, browns, and creams.
For Swift, Friday evening called for an easy, comfy timeless look. She wore a dark olive-green long-sleeve knit and celebrated her favorite season with some of its fan-favorite staples—i.e. corduroy trousers and loafers. The latter, designed in a rich shiny burgundy hue, featured a little stacked heel for a touch of elevation (although she still didn’t quite reach her husband’s 6 feet 5 inches).
Her bag, a small black leather handbag from Gucci, with a thin strap, silver hardware, and the house’s signature horsebit detail, brought an equestrian touch to the preppy, autumnal feel. Swift wore her freshly-cut shoulder-length hair down, with her natural waves and bangs framing her face.
Seen next to her, Kelce had opted for a cream short-sleeve polo for the outing, crafted from a thick knit with a little pointed collar. He wore the top with a pair of relaxed brown trousers, and finished things off with black loafers of his own. The two held hands as they made their way from the restaurant to their car.
