Max Mara marked its 75th anniversary this week with a Fall/Winter 2026 runway show and intimate luncheon at the storied, Philip Johnson-designed Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut.
The Scene: Who needs four walls for a fashion show? Models wound their way through the 49-acre grounds of the architectural landmark, giving guests a front-row view of Max Mara’s fall offering before everyone settled in for lunch. Over freshly baked sourdough with warm maple butter and other delights, the lineup of sumptuous earth-toned and rich red coats remained front of mind. (In our opinion, a floor-skirting tan coat with a generous lapel and wide sleeves was the standout.)
The Crowd: Guests in the audience and around the table included CULTURED’s own Sarah Harrelson; Glass House Executive Director Kirsten Reoch; Max Mara USA CEO Riccardo Broggi; actors Allison Williams, Alexander Dreymon, Brittany Snow, and Malin Akerman; The Real Housewives of New York City star Sai De Silva; style tastemakers Michelle Paz and Amanda Curseaden; stylist Dani Stahl; artist Tracie Cheng; media leaders Samantah Yanks and Wren Alaia; and fashion editor Dani Stahl.
The Entertainment: Outside of the runway show and jaw-dropping backdrop? Guests were also treated to an eyewear stand providing a peek at Max Mara’s new collection with Marcolin. Handy when reclining inside a sunlit glass house!
Memorable Moment: The Hunting Wives stars Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman traded on-screen drama for a little off-screen glamour, posing together in their Max Mara best amid the festivities.
