Two teams who endured worse starts to the Premier League campaign than they had anticipated collide this weekend, with Chelsea playing host to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea won two straight matches at the beginning of the season and then proceeded to go winless over the next three, losing two of those games and falling to 10th in the standings. The Blues likely welcomed the international break with open arms when it happened, and they must now attempt to get back on track with the resumption of the campaign.
Meanwhile, things are even worse for Bournemouth, who have yet to win a game thus far. The Cherries entered the season with high hopes only to come crashing back down to Earth with two losses and three draws in their first five matches.

Chelsea vs. Bournemouth prediction
The teams’ weaknesses are actually the inverse of each other: Bournemouth can’t score while Chelsea can’t defend.
What that means for this match remains to be seen, but given the Blues’ tendancy to open games up, it should lead to some opportunities for the Cherries that they haven’t been used to this season.
Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Bournemouth
