Jonas Schmitten has left Goldman Sachs after a more than five-year tenure, The TRADE can reveal.

London-based Schmitten served as VP, head of FX MarketStrats for EMEA during his time at the firm.

Earlier in his career, he has also worked in equity focused positions, at firms including Parus Finance.

Schmitten’s departure follows notable moves across Goldman Sachs in recent months.

He most recently served as co-head of global trading at the firm.
