The ‘Fall into Fashion Show’ fundraiser for Seattle Children’s Tri-Cities Clinic took place in the Three Rivers Convention Center on Nov. 7.
The fundraiser brought in six local boutiques, hosted a blind auction that had each of their items, and had live music. Former Seattle Seahawk, Ruben Mayes attended and offered a dinner with him in the blind auction. Proceeds from the event will go to the Seattle Children’s Tri-Cities Clinic.
The Treasurer of the Three Rivers Guild, Cara Linde said supporting the clinic is important to the area.
Linde said “they have to go to Seattle every time they need a check up work here or blood work, it’s just a hardship for the whole family. So, the children that are left home have to miss mom and dad as well as mom and dad taking off time of work. So, it’s really important to try to bring the care close to home, bring our specialists here so that we can honestly just come together as a community and support each other.”
