Russell Brand has faced intense scrutiny following his conviction for rape and sexual assault. His wife, Laura Gallacher, stood firmly by his side throughout the trial, with the mother of his three children even taking to the witness stand to testify in his defense, having previously been photographed showing her support outside the courtroom.
Brand, then 42, wed Laura in 2017 at St Nicholas Church in Remenham, near Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. The couple exchanged vows in a ceremony attended by approximately 100 guests, including several well-known celebrities.
Noel Gallagher, once a close friend of the groom, was among the most high-profile attendees. The two had maintained a tight friendship for nearly 20 years, before Gallagher cut both personal and professional ties with Brand in April 2025, reportedly at the urging of his daughter, Anaïs.

Television broadcaster Jonathan Ross also attended the ceremony, alongside his wife, screenwriter Jane Goldman. Many audiences first became familiar with Brand following his appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in May 2006, and the two became close.
However, both men found themselves embroiled in controversy over a prank call made on BBC Radio 2 and the recording of offensive voicemails left for actor Andrew Sachs. Hollywood actor Jason Segel, who starred alongside Brand in the 2008 film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, made the trip to attend the ceremony, reports the Express.
Other notable figures from the entertainment world included comedian David Baddiel and television presenter Fearne Cotton. Baddiel has long been counted among Russell Brand’s closest friends, frequently speaking about their bond in interviews and often appearing alongside him at public events.
The bride’s family was also well represented, with her sister, television presenter Kirsty Gallacher, and her father, former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher, among those in attendance. Professional golfer Sam Torrance, a familiar face in the family’s golfing circle, was also present on the day.
