Atletico Madrid v Bayern Munich – Oblak’s brilliance needed
Tues, 20:00 kick-off
With their formidable front-line now featuring a Ballon d’Or champion, Die Roten have scored every 25.7 minutes in 2026/27. Atletico meanwhile have kept clean sheets in exactly half of their fixtures.
Viewing this purely as a prolific attack taking on a well-drilled back-line, however, does the Spanish side a disservice. Julian Alvarez is well-priced at 11/10 to take on four or more shots, the 26-year-old averaging 3.8 attempts per 90 this season. Alex Baena has registered five assists in his last seven starts and is 13/4 to add to that tally on Tuesday.
The Mattress Makers are second in La Liga for several reasons, only one of which is their excellent rearguard.
It could even be argued that this excellent rearguard is beginning to creak a little, with Atletico increasingly relying on Jan Oblak’s brilliance in nets.
The towering stopper has been forced into making 3.9 saves per 90 across his last five appearances and for sure a busy night awaits him here.

Barcelona v Aston Villa – Barca to inflict damage early
Tues, 20:00 kick-off
Barca’s 6-1 routing of Alaves at the weekend was the perfect response to their El Clasico defeat, and the ideal warm-up for their hosting of Villa.
Two goals and an assist for Lamine Yamal made it 23 goal involvements across 2026/27 for the phenomenal teen, at a rate of a goal or assist every 51 minutes.
The last time the Blaugrana faced English opposition, they put seven past Newcastle at Camp Nou, and while a similar scoreline would greatly surprise here – with Villa on an upward trajectory, after a sticky start to their campaign – a home victory is clearly the way to go. If Yamal doesn’t get you, Raphinha will.
What intrigues is determining when the damage is done. Impressively, Barcelona have scored within 25 minutes in 10 of their 14 fixtures to date this term. On nine occasions, they have scored 2+ goals before the break.

Feyenoord v Inter Milan – Feistiness in Rotterdam
Tues, 20:00 kick-off
After suffering their first league loss of the season on Saturday – to city rivals AC Milan of all teams – Inter will head to the Netherlands highly motivated, with a point to prove
This raises all manner of red flags from a disciplinary perspective.
First and foremost, the Nerazzurri can mix it with the best of them, picking up nine yellow cards in the Champions League so far, three per 90. They also had Alessandro Bastoni sent off last time out to Shakhtar Donetsk.
Then we consider Feyenoord, who are pretty calm and collected in the Eredivisie, because they can afford to be. In Europe, the Dutch side have been involved in 75 foul involvements already.
Inter’s Hakan Çalhanoğlu is fancied here for a caution, the veteran midfielder seeing yellow three times this season, twice in this competition.

LASK v Slovan Bratislava – Austrians to romp it
Tues, 20:00 kick-off
Austrian side LASK have been a whole lot of fun this season, registering just shy of 20 shots per 90 in their domestic league, and that attacking adventure has resulted in numerous thrashings of inferior fare as well as a thrilling 3-3 draw away to Hartberg.
Better yet, the club from Linz have transferred their offensive mandate to the Champions League, first pulling off a sensational second-leg comeback against Celtic in the Play-Off round before losing 3-6 to Liverpool and beating Sporting CP 3-2 away.
Yaya Toure’s Slovan Bratislava meanwhile should be commended for navigating the qualifying rounds, but since reaching the league phase a disparity in class has definitely told.
Their three games to date amount to an aggregate scoreline of 13-1.
LASK midfielder Robert Ljubicic is worth noting, the Croatian racking up six goal involvements in his last six outings.

Man United v Roma – Crisis to deepen
Tues, 20:00 kick-off
Winless in nine and traumatised from top to bottom, United would ideally face a League Phase underdog on Tuesday, the kind of side that would deploy a low block and be somewhat overawed by the grandeur and history of Old Trafford.
Roma are the very antithesis of such a side.
Chasing down a first Scudetto for 25 years, I Giallorossi have fired 2.8 goals per 90 in Serie A while only a late collapse prevented them from pulling off a multi-goal victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League.
In Europe, they have accrued 57.7% possession and completed the third most passes in the competition.
In the middle, Marten de Roon and Bryan Cristante have been superb, while ahead of them an ever-dangerous Matías Soulé has executed 17 key passes in his last six appearances. Up front, Donyell Mayen has scored or assisted in each of his last five outings.
In short, Roma will play to their strengths, and those strengths are perilous to a United midfield in disarray and a defence poorly protected as a consequence.
Odds correct as of November 2nd and subject to change. Recommended bets are advised to over-18s.
