Meta has launched two AI-powered apps, Waddle World and Style Sketch, as the company experiments with using its in-house AI models to speed up app development.
Waddle World is designed for children and features a virtual pet that remembers users’ conversations and creates content based on their interests. The app combines pet-care games with journaling features, allowing users to record their daily experiences through voice or text. The virtual pet can turn these entries into journal notes and send users weekly postcards based on what they have shared.

The app also includes short games and daily questions intended to encourage regular interaction.
Meta has also launched Style Sketch, an AI-powered outfit planning app that generates clothing combinations based on items users already own. Users can add clothing by uploading photos or videos, importing images from their camera rolls or connecting their Instagram accounts to build a digital wardrobe.
Style Sketch suggests outfits based on users’ wardrobes, body shapes, skin tones and local weather. It also offers outfit planning for trips, allowing users to enter their destination and travel duration to receive day-by-day clothing suggestions. The app includes a feature to preview outfits on a model matched to the user’s body shape and skin tone.

The apps are currently designed for iPhone only; the company has not mentioned any plans to make them available on Android yet.
